Valentine's Day and Goodies

Well ladies this post is for you. I had an amazing Valentines day with my best friend. Made some delicious goodies for my family (recipe at bottom) && made a sexy Adam Levine background for my phone that I shall share with you. So this past weekend my best friend came home from Australia! (Just in time to be my Valentine) Saturday night at 2am, when she got home, Maria and I sat up all night listening and vicariously living through Chrissy's amazing study aboard stories. That is one place that I NEED to go before I die.

Anyways as for Valentine's Day, I started off the morning by making her a heart themed breakfast, then I baked up a storm. I had a really great idea for decorating but none of it turned out how I planned, and I massacred the kitchen. None the less everyone was still happy with the goodies no matter how they looked. Then we went and saw Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and if you haven't seen it yet, go! Great intellectual thriller it's kind of dark and pretty long, but I loved it.

Recipe for Brownie Batter Truffles:

1 box of Brownie Mix

5-6 Tbs. of Millk

Candy Melts of Dipping

1. In large bowl combine Mix and Milk until all dough is moistened (takes some mixing) add more milk if needed but not too much to where the dough gets liquidy.

2. Put cocoa powered or flour on your hands and make 1 in. balls out of dough & put them on a cookie sheet on parchment paper.

3. Freeze them for at least 20 mins

4. Melt candies or chocolate and dip the frozen truffles (add sprinkles if wanted)

5. Put back on cookie/parchment paper

6. Freeze again
